A new logo, a CD,

a new musical verve …

that somehow enabled us to resume

where we left off, more than 30 years before.

“Tales From The Edge: A Tribute to the Music of Yes” has been released, a Mellow Records production with 26 covers of one of the historical groups rightly considered a pillar of the world Progressive music.

 It surely was a test for the bands who participated in and we believe that, on the whole, this test was succesfully passed. Here, Aurora Lunare measure themselves with the song “Don’t Kill The Whale” from the album Tormato dated 1978.

“A Flower Full Of Stars” – A Tribute To The Flower Kings ” has been released, a magnificent Musea Records production, where over thirty prog bands from all over the world have ventured into the revival of several tracks of the neo-prog Swedish group. Aurora Lunare participated with the song “Trading my Soul” from the album ‘The Sum of No Evil’  of 2007.

Great satisfaction for the success, in all senses!

Anche per questo brano si è concluso l’iter della registrazione e del mixaggio con la consegna alla Mellow Records.

Don’t Kill the Whale sembrava semplice ma …. si sa, sono gli Yes!  Riteniamo che in questo caso sia evidente la personalizzazione del brano.

Completata la registrazione ed il mixaggio di “Trading my Soul”;  il brano è stato già consegnato alla Musea Records.

Aurora Lunare partecipa con entusiasmo alla lodevole iniziativa della Musea Records.

Il brano scelto è “Trading my Soul” dall’album The Sum of No Evil del 2007, la cui registrazione è stata quasi ultimata.


Uscito il doppio CD della Musea Records dove Aurora Lunare è presente con i due brani “Connexion” dei Goblin e “Gamma” di Enrico Simonetti, che il gruppo ha riarrangiato e personalizzato cercando di mantenere l’atmosfera e le sonorità di quegli anni.

Tutto l’album vuole essere un tributo alle colonne sonore di un genere di film e sceneggiati televisivi che hanno caratterizzato un’epoca nei ’70.

E’ uscito il CD triplo “A TRIBUTE TO MARILLION Recital for a season’s end” dove Aurora Lunare esegue il brano “The Party”. Per la precisione è la quarta track del terzo CD.

Tutto questo è stato reso possibile, oltre che dalla ritrovata energia di Marco e la indiscussa professionalità di Stefano, anche dalla valida collaborazione e disponibilità dei giovani musicisti di “Percorsi Musicali” a cui vanno i più sentiti ringraziamenti.
